Programs & Tuition

We believe in transparency and invite families to review our tuition structure, our subsidized childcare program, and what is included for every child enrolled at Northtown Grand Daycare.

At Northtown Grand Daycare, our tuition reflects the quality of education, environment, and support services we provide to children and their families. Our program integrates the NTC learning system, an enriched curriculum, and a purpose-built setting designed to support early brain development, school readiness, and the health of every child in our care.

What Tuition Includes

Our fees cover a complete early learning experience for your child, not just basic supervision. Families enrolling at Northtown Grand Daycare receive:

Affordable Child Care: Alberta's Childcare Affordability Grant

Who Is Eligible

Eligibility for the affordability grant is set by the Government of Alberta and generally depends on:

If your family also qualifies for additional income-based subsidy through Alberta’s child care subsidy program, that support is separate from – and on top of – the affordability grant pricing already reflected below.

How to Apply for Additional Subsidy

Families who believe they may be eligible for further child care subsidy based on household income can apply directly through Alberta’s child care subsidy program. To apply, you will typically need:

  • Proof of household income (recent tax documents or pay stubs)
  • Your child’s enrollment confirmation from Northtown Grand Daycare
  • Basic family and contact information

We’re happy to provide any enrollment documentation your family needs to complete a subsidy application – just contact our office and we’ll prepare it for you.

Parent Fees

Our parent fees already reflect Alberta’s Childcare Affordability Grant pricing:

  • Full-time (100+ hrs/month): $326.25/month
  • Part-time (50–99 hrs/month): $230.00/month

These fees apply per child and are billed monthly. If your family has more than one child enrolled, please contact us directly to discuss sibling enrollment and scheduling.

Optional Meal Program - $180/month

We offer a freshly prepared meal program as an optional add-on service, billed separately from your parent fee. Our in-house cook prepares balanced, low-sugar, allergy-aware meals daily, with halal options available to support the dietary needs of every child and family.

Enrollment in the meal program is voluntary. Families who prefer to bring food from home are welcome to do so — there is no impact on your child’s enrollment either way. To opt in or opt out, please submit a written request to the centre, and our staff will update your child’s account accordingly.

Our office is available to walk new families through this checklist and answer any questions about tuition, subsidy eligibility, or program details before enrollment.
